There is no shortage of stories about those who migrated, yet there are many fewer about the families left behind. “Cinco Mil Kilómetros” follows a mother and daughter coping with recent migration and absence in their family. Cada año, miles de inmigrantes centroamericanos llegan a Estados Unidos en busca de mejores oportunidades.
